My best friend had a Miscarriage

Am done with school and one of my best friends got engaged. She was privileged and they both were happy until the most unimaginable happened. The woman had a miscarriage. It was sad and she cried a lot.

Going to hospital, the doctor said the woman lacked essential body nutrients and folic acids hence her body could not have sustained the pregnancy. Could it have been corrected if reported earlier? The answer is yes. The woman simply lacked a platform to access important information that would have saved her baby.

This was a replica of what happened to many women around the world. My worry is, at least my pal could afford to go to hospital. What about millions of women in the slums, rural areas and poor women who even struggle to access basic needs. Another group of women adversely affected- women with HIV and AIDS.

We have to end this in order to save our land and our generation.
